Problem Note 39203: SAS® closes unexpectedly when connecting from Windows to UNIX using Secure Socket Layer (SSL)

When a windows client connects to a UNIX server using SSL, the client SAS session will close unexpectedly after signon with the following message:
sas.exe is not functioning anymore. Searching for a solution to that problem... CANCEL
To correct the problem, download a new sasvtcp module.
Rename the existing sasvtcp.dll module to sasvtcp.old. The sasvtcp.dll module can be found in the !sasroot\core directory.
